| WHO WAS HIS FATHER? |

| That is, Who Was Jesus' Father |

Deputation's Query
And Their Understanding of 3:59
You see what was the Deputation's Query to the Revelation of 3:59 ? Volumes can be written on the subject. That tells us how the Deputation understood and interpreted the Verse. Their understanding was that the text declared that Jesus had a father. Their question was not if he had a father. They asked,
' who was his father?'
| . |
| That settles the Deputation's understanding of 3:59. |
| . |
| What was Muhammad's understanding of the Revelation? This is important, for it was to him God spoke. Judge that for yourself by his reply to the Deputation's Query. |

MUHAMMAD'S REBUTTAL
"Don't you know that no child is born but has the likeness to its father in form and in appearance?"
Muhammad's Understanding of 3:59
| . |
Muhammad understood the Verse to mean not only that Jesus had a father, but further - the identification of the father. That is, that Jesus father was he in whose likeness Jesus was, in form and in appearance.
| Pause and think of this. Without 3:59 Muhammad was defenceless. Aided with 3:59, he got the upperhand. |
| . |
Another point. Having said Jesus had a father, and who his father was, Allah had no need to worry over representing Points 2, 3, 4 & 5. Verse 3:59 was self-sufficient. Following upon its revelation. Muhammad took command of the Debate therefrom and single-handedly dumbfounded the Deputation.
