Commentary: Verse 3:59, Sentence A, B and C
Jesus, Son of Mary and John

Sentence A

"Truly, the likeness of Jesus , in God's sight is as Adam's likeness;

Likeness

The comparison of Jesus with Adam is over their person not their creation. By their looks ( form and appearance ). If we are blind to it, He is not. In His eyes, they are of the likeness one to the other. Truly so (inda Allah hi)

Sentence B

He created him from dust

Created

Here, in point of time, God created Jesus. God created Jesus of turab, not by kun.

The creature is in life-form, exists, alive, a him.

He is already an animal in embryo.

Sentence C
then
said He unto him
'Be',
and he was".
Thumma (then):
After which, thereafter, afterwards, in the end.
Him:
God is speaking to a him not to a her. A him already in existence. Him refers to Jesus not Mary.
(You) Kun - (be):
" You " is understood. Grammatically.
HE:
A he was willed by God into becoming what he became, eventually, that is, a man, Jesus, alive and in person.

So far, we have dealt with Sentence " A " and Sentence " B " of 3: 59 in light of Muhammad's interpretation in his rebuttal of the Deputation's Arguments. We have mentioned Sentence " C ", now let us examine the final segment of the Verse in a little more detail. By it, we shall be able to conclude whether Jesus was of Immaculate Conception, of Virgin Birth, or was of the same nature as any other man born of a woman. Whether he was born fatherless or he had a father. The arguments of Muhammad were recorded verbatim and preserved intact. The only hindrance is that the case-jacket is labeled "Unsolved Mystery." "Case closed until Youm-ul-kiyamat."
