FUNDAMENTAL Beliefs, Precepts
Jesus, Son of Mary and John

ISLAM
112 v.s. 3:16
CHRISTIANITY

'Say: He is Allah the One.

Allah, the Eternal, Absolute.

He begets not, nor is He begotten.

And there is none like unto Him. (Qur'an 112.)

(This in a nutshell constitutes the basic Belief of Muslims)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his Only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting Life."

(This in a nutshell constitutes the basic Belief of Christians)

Contradictions
M U S L I M S
1. God cannot have a Son.
2. To believe that Jesus is the Son of God is blasphemy against Allah (kufr)
3. He shall perish who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
4. The unpardonable sin for a Muslim is to associate a partner with Allah
CHRISTIANS
1. God certainly has a Son, namely, Jesus Christ.
2. Man's salvation depends on his belief that Christ is the Son of God
3. Eternal damnation upon him who does not believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
4. The unpardonable sin for a Christian is not to associate Jesus in Son-ship with God.
Seemingly, the notion of ascribing to God a son, or part of a trinity, is directly in violation of the First Commandment as believed by Christians and Jews alike.

COMMENT

What an irreconcilable contradiction; each to the opposite extreme as regards the two major world religions believed to be akin from base to apex. The wedge being the status of Jesus.

Position Of the Jews:

After all, Jesus was of Jewish descent and it was unto the nation of Israel he claimed he was prophet over, the Promised Messiah whose advent as foretold was to liberate them from the yoke of Roman oppression. To Israel Jesus was and still is nothing but:

A fake
An imposter
A counterfeit Messiah
