Taking a closer look at Mary's pregnancy

"Then she came with him to her people bearing him. They said, 'O Mary, thou hast surely committed a disgraceful thing!'"

"O sister of Aaron, thy father was not an evil man, nor was thy mother an unchaste woman!" |

|

|
|
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; |

To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. |

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. |

Note:
These verses relate to the final stage of Mary's pregnancy, just prior to delivery. There was nothing odd over how Jesus was conceived and developed in the body of Mary. Nothing about her pregnancy was unusual or went amiss from inception to conclusion.

Verse 19:27 expounds manifestly that:

Mary was heavily laden, experiencing unbearable pains of child-birth

She was in accompaniment with a 'him' from the palm tree to the village of her people. He was seen by her folks and could have exchanged words with them.

The other 'him' was her unborn child. |

She was accused of having done a misdeed , not brought an amazing thing. |
