Mary's Conception
Jesus, Son of Mary and John

Old Testament (Prophecy)

"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign, Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Im-man-u-el."

QUR'AN
Laden (pregnant)
BIBLE - New Testament
'So she conceived him and retired with him to a remote place.'
"And behold, thou shall conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name Jesus."
"And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Jesus, which was so name of the angel before he was conceived in the womb."

Review of the four verses:

Old Testament

Was not Mary's virginity intact? She was a virgin.

And was not Jesus her first born? Conceive, bear and son are alien to Father, Son & Holy Ghost! Not a word like immaculate, miraculous, fatherless or virgin-birth in the prophecy.

[In fact, Isaiah 7: 14 may not even refer to Jesus at all. Continue the reading in Isaiah and see for yourself.]

Quran

"So she conceived him" pinpoints to exactness who did. Mary did. Whatever it took to do what was done, Mary was co-participant of the act. The term "son of Mary" nullifies "untouched by man". That she conceived , she was touched, if not, how life (a him) entered into her womb? Untouched? Male chromosomes must be introduced, whatever method is used (invetro or otherwise), the process must follow God's Law of Alaq. No cloning here.

New Testament:
St Luke's version is explicit that:
1. Mary biologically conceived Jesus
2. He was conceived in her womb
3. He was her son by nature.
4. She of her own brought forth what was hers.

Footnote:
Wisdom of the Messenger of God
'Don't you know that Jesus was conceived by a woman just as any other woman conceives a child, then she gave birth to him just as every other woman gives birth to a child, he was then reared up like other children, then he used to eat and drink and answer the calls of nature like all other human beings?'
- Muhammad, Messenger of God
