Debate between Muhammad and the Christian deputation of Najran over the professed 'Divinity of Jesus'. Convened in the 10th year of the Hijra in Medina Masjid (Mosque).

"Have you seen anyone like him [Jesus] or have you been informed of a man like him?"

"Consider this superiority . Do you still call him a 'SERVANT of GOD?'"

Qur'anic Reply 3: 59: "Truly, the likeness of Jesus, in God's sight, is as Adam's likeness; He created him of dust, then said He unto him, 'be', and he was".
Deputation's Question: "Who was his father?"
Muhammad's Reply: "Don't you know that no child is born but has the likeness to its father in form and in appearance?'
Forward Point: The Deputation. understood verse 3:59 to mean that Jesus had a father hence their Query: "who was his father?". They precisely asked "who?".
Reverse Point: Muhammad's reply implies his acknowledgement that Jesus was not born without a father.
THE WISDOM OF TRUTH.
We will rip apart the three sentences of 3:59

"Truly, the likeness of Jesus, in God's sight, is as Adam's likeness." |

"He (God, The Almighty) created him (Jesus) of dust." |

|
"Then, said He (God, The Almighty) unto him (Jesus) 'be', and he was." |
SENTENCE "A": If Jesus in form was of the likeness of a lion, his father would have been a lion with a tail and four feet. If Jesus in form was shaped like a bird, his father would have had wings and feathers. If Jesus was formless, he may have been the Son of God The Almighty. But if in form he was human, then his father was a man. If in appearance Jesus was Asian looking, he was son of an Asian, if African looking, he was son of an African. But if a Caucasian Jew, he was son of an Israelite.
SENTENCE "B": (1) He was a created being. (2) Of dust (turab).(3) Created of pre-existing matter (turab) (4) In a pre-existing model (Adam).
SENTENCE "C": After creating Jesus, then, God gave the command for his conception, birth and existence.
NOTE: Creation is before conception. Creation of man takes place in a father (Qur'an 86:6-7). Conception in a mother. That Jesus was created, he had a father. That he was conceived, he had a mother. Hence the question:
Muhammad's reference: He who was of the likeness to Jesus in form and in appearance. God's confirmation 3:59: "Jesus' likeness is as Adam's likeness. In My sight, that is definitely so."
GOD's ATTESTATION: Jesus was the son of Adam!
THE GENEALOGY: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, ... Abijah, Zachariah, John.

THE NAJRAN DEPUTATION Dumbfounded, they declined Muhammad's invitation to a "Mubahala" (invocation) agreeing to pay instead "jizya" tribute as "wages for rule". As deifiers of "Virgin Birth", Muslims should accept the challenge!

God's Challenge :
3:61. If anyone disputes in this matter with thee now after (full) knowledge hath come to thee say: "Come! let us gather together our sons and your sons our women and your women ourselves and yourselves: then let us earnestly pray and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!"
