Part 01 Part 02 Part 03 Part 04 Part 05 Part 06 Part 07 Part 08

1. Prophet of the Highest:

'And thou, child, shall be called the 'prophet of the Highest'; for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways.' Luke 1: 76

2. Power of the Highest:

'Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing that I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, the Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the Power of the Highest shall overshadow thee; therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.' Luke 1: 34 - 35

3. Son of the Highest:

'And the angel said said unto her, Fear not, Mary; for thou hast found favour with God.
'And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son, and shall call his name Jesus.
'He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David.' Luke 1: 30 - 32

SUMMARY of 1-3

J O H N - the prophet of the Highest
M A R Y - overshadowed by the Power of the Highest
J E S U S - the Son of the Highest

QUESTION?

Who was the Highest - God or John?

ANSWER!

'But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.' (Matt. 11: 9)

'And he shall go before him in in the spirit and power of El-i-as' (Luke 1: 17)

INTERPRETATION

In the spirit of El-i-as, John was a power. He was a Prophet, yea, but more than a prophet. He was power of the Highest (Spiritually not divinely)

EXPLANATION

'And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a virgin, and the virgin's name was Mary.'( Luke 1: 26-27)

Four beings were involved. God, Gabriel, Holy Ghost and power of the Highest

1. It was not the Holy Ghost who overshadowed Mary?
2. Gabriel was only Bearer & Deliverer of the news!
3. "God was Sender of the messages
4. The power of the Highest overshadowed Mary.

The power of the Highest was not God nor Gabriel nor the Holy Ghost. There is a further qualification, the resultant offspring shall shall 'inherit the throne of his father David' (Luke 1:28-33). God, the Almighty, Gabriel, and the Holy Ghost, are not offsprings of David. That disqualifies them from having anything to do with Mary's conception. Mary, on the other hand, cannot produce a male offspring by herself (even if cloned). She is an Imranite of Aaron's lineage of the priestly Levite tribe. Who is, then, the only eligible person to fulfill the prophecy of being of the seed of David and inherited the posterity of Jacob?

Prophesy

The Old Testament ended with:

"Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me;" Mal 3:1

The New Testament begins with:

"As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger, before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee." Mark 1:2

Fulfillment

Jesus, speaking of JOHN said:

"For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee." (Matt. 11: 10)

Jesus, speaking of himself, said,

"I am the way, the truth, and the life." John 14: 6

SUMMARY

The Bible's Version is that:

1.

Mary was impregnated by 'the power of the Highest'.

Thus Jesus, her child, was called 'the Son of the Highest'.

John was prophet, messenger, and came in the spirit and power of El-i-as (God with us). If John was not the power of the Highest, then who was? Why all these cross references? The being who overshadowed Mary, if he was not John, then who was he?

2. John was the messenger of the Lord whose purpose as defined was 'to prepare the way'

Jesus' confession

'I am the way.'
