Surah Mariam Verses 1-40, An Overview
Jesus, Son of Mary and John

Surah Mariam - Chapter 19, Sections One and Two, Verses 1 - 40

The Testimony of Allah:

The account of the birth of Jesus is recorded in the first and second sections of the 19th Chapter of the Holy Qur'an. The title of the Chapter is ' M A R I A M '. The text is a verbatim recital, word for word, of the testimony of Almighty Allah by He Himself.

No where else is this so. Whatever may be said outside the Qur'anic record is the writing of 'man'. At his best, man can know, but only so much. God is All-Knowing.

The Arabic Language:

God spoke in Arabic. His revelation is intact (85: 21) You may agree with (a) but not fully with (b). Yet (a) is inter-related with (b) as (b) is with (a). You will soon understand how. (41:43; 56:79; 15:10)

The Qur'anic Arabic differs with all the dialects known and spoken, then and now in the Arabic language, east, west, north or south. A significant point! Not even Muhammad, the messenger of Allah, unto whom the Qur'anic revelation was vouchsafed, spoke in the Qur'anic tongue of the Arabic language.

Truth is self-evident, transparent and explicit. And when God states a truth, the power of its self-support dispels falsehood. It vanishes aidlessly.

Rab is Lord.
Arab is a man
Rabi is a man of the Lord.
Ab is father
Bic is to think, talk and write.

(Qur'an 12:2; 13: 37; 41: 44)

Section One of Chapter 19:

God gives an account of the fatherhood side, the background leading to the creation of Jesus. The reproduction of an animal life evolves and proceeds from between the backbone and rib within the body of a man (a male person). That is where human life begins. No where else. (86: 5-7)

Section Two of CH.19:

Here is God's narration of the motherhood side. How God's overall 'Plan' was enacted, resulting in the birth of Jesus. After Jesus' creation, how his life entered Mary, how conception took place, development and ultimately birth. Mary's pregnancy conformed to the LAW that whereas creation originates with the father, conception is the exclusive prerogative of the mother. In 3: 59, God vouched that Jesus was created. He was created of turab (dust or earth). Creation is before conception. If, in the case of Jesus, conception did take place in the body of a woman, and Jesus was a created being, created of turab through a process of alaq (96:2), then obviously, fatherhood is inevitable.

The verses of this section disclose how Mary was conceived and by whom. It is described in a masterful fashion and brings to mind the famous saying, "A rose by any other name is still a rose".

What I will not do:

Since the Arabic original text of Allah's Testimony is (a) Qur'anically scripted, (b) is intact, and (c) its authenticity can be avouched, as is where is, I will refrain from a reproduction of Sections One and Two in a copied documentary.

What I will do:

I will highlight impertinent words and statements. Yusuf Ali's translation against the original Arabic text. The truth of how Mary was conceived and by whom will shine forth as visible as daylight, Insha Allah. Then mankind, the world over, will come to know and believe that John the Baptist was the biological father of Jesus the Christ.

"They will know the truth." and "the truth will set them free."

A Truism:

'I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent and hast
revealed them unto babes.' Matthew 11: 25 (Jesus).
