Messengers (Prophets) are granted wives and descendants: Chapter 13:38

Arabic (13:38)
Transliteration	38. WA- LA- QAD ARSALNAA RUSUL(AN) MIN QABLI -KA WA- JAcALNAA LA- -HUM AZWAAJ(AN) WA- DHURREYAH WA- MAA KAANA LI- RASOL 'AN YA'TIYA BI- 'AAYAH 'ILLAA BI- 'IDHN 'ALLAAH LI- KULL 'AJAL KITAAB
Yusuf Ali	38. We did send apostles before thee and appointed for them wives and children: and it was never the part of an apostle to bring a Sign except as Allah permitted (or commanded). For each period is a Book (revealed).
Pickthall	38. And verity We sent messengers (to mankind) before thee, and We appointed for them wives and offspring, and it was not (given) to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave. For everything there is a time prescribed.
Shakir	38 . And certainly We sent apostles before you and gave them wives and children, and it is not in (the power of) an apostle to bring a sign except by Allah's permission; for every term there is an appointment.

Yusuf Ali	84. We gave him Isaac and Jacob: all (three) We guided: and before him We guided Noah and before him We guided Noah and among his progeny David Solomon Job Joseph Moses and Aaron: thus do We reward those who do good:
Pickthall	84. And We bestowed upon him Isaac and Jacob; each of them We guided; and Noah did We guide aforetime; and of his seed (We guided) David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the good.
Shakir	84 . And We gave to him Ishaq and Yaqoub; each did We guide, and Nuh did We guide before, and of his descendants, Dawood and Sulaiman and Ayub and Yusuf and Haroun; and thus do We reward those who do good (to others).

Yusuf Ali	85. And Zakariya and John and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the righteous:
Pickthall	85. And Zachariah and John and Jesus and Elias. Each one (of them) was of the righteous.
Shakir	85 . And Zakariya and Yahya and Isa and Ilyas; every one was of the good;
Comments	Look, see how Allah strategically placed in the Qur'an, the father son relationship; for those with eyes to see.

Transliteration	86. WA- 'ISMAAcEL WA- AL-YASAc WA- YONUS WA- LOT.(AN) WA- KULL(AN) FAD.D.ALNAA cALAA AL- cAALAMEN
Yusuf Ali	86. And Ismail and Elisha and Jonahs and Lot: and to all We gave favor above the nations:
Pickthall	86. And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot. Each one of them did We prefer above (Our) creatures,
Shakir	86 . And Ismail and Al-Yasha and Yunus and Lut; and every one We made to excel (in) the worlds:

Yusuf Ali	87. (To them) and to their fathers and progeny and brethren: We chose them. And We guided them to a straight way.
Pickthall	87. With some of their forefathers and thee offspring and thee brethren; and We chose them and guided them unto a straight path:

Arabic Transliteration 5. WA- 'INNI -Y KHIFTU AL- MAWAALE MIN WARAA'I -Y WA- KAANAT IMRA'AH -E cAAQIR(AN) FA- HAB LI- -Y MIN LADUN -KA WALEY(AN) Yusuf Ali 5. "Now I fear (what) my relatives (and colleagues) (will do) after me: but my wife is barren: so give me an heir as from Thyself Pickthall 5. Lo! I fear my kinsfolk after me, since my wife is barren. Oh, give me from Thy presence a successor Shakir 5. And surely I fear my cousins after me, and my wife is barren, therefore grant me from Thyself an heir, Comments Note: Zachariah's prayer is preserved and mentioned in 3:38, he prayed for MIN LADUN -KA DHURREYAH T.AYYIBAH (from Thee a progeny that is pure. 19:5, he prayed for MIN LADUN -KA WALEY(AN) (give me an heir as from Thyself). (Note: the word waley means to be near, or close to, like a friend is close) 21:89, he prayed LAA TADHAR -NE FARD(AN) (leave me not without offspring).The word farad means alone, by itself, solitary.

Arabic Transliteration 6. YARITH -NE WA- YARITH MIN 'AAL YAcQOB WA- IJcAL -HU RABB -I RAD.EY(AN) Yusuf Ali 6. "(One that) will (truly) represent me and represent the posterity of Jacob; and make him O my Lord! one with whom Thou art well-pleased!" Pickthall 6. Who shall inherit of me and inherit (also) of the house of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, acceptable ( unto Thee). Shakir 6. Who should inherit me and inherit from the children of Yaqoub, and make him, my Lord, one in whom Thou art well pleased. Comments Note that Zakariya paryed for some that will "inherit" (and continue) Jacob. Since Allah said in 19:4 that Zakariya said that he has never been unblessed in his Dua' (prayers) therefore any progeny must allow the continuation of this process and cannot be removed from this worls without continuing this process (until Allah Please).

Arabic Transliteration 7. YAA ZAKAREYAA 'IN(NA) -NAA NUBASHSHIR -KA BI- GHULAAM ISM -HU YAH.YAA LAM NAJcAL LA- -HU MIN QABLU SAMEY(AN) Yusuf Ali 7. (His prayer was answered): "O Zakariya! We give thee good news of a son: his name shall be Yahya: on none by that name have We conferred distinction before." Pickthall 7. (It was said unto him): O Zachariah! Lo! We bring thee tidings of a son whose name is John; We have given the same name to none before (him). Shakir 7. O Zakariya! surely We give you good news of a boy whose name shall be Yahya: We have not made before anyone his equal. Comments
